The station operates 18 and a half hours a day from 4:30 am (sign on) until 11:00 pm (sign off) on 1269 kilohertz with the power of 10,000 watts. It was established and changed its name to DYWB Bombo Radyo in early 80s and became known as a commercial broadcast station under the umbrella of Bombo Radyo Philippines. From then on, DYWB Bombo Radyo-Bacolod maintains to be on top as the over-all number one radio station in the “City of Smiles,”
